Between 8 October 2012 and 7 October 2017, the Nord Stream pipeline transported a total volume of 182.1 billion m3 of natural gas. Since the start of operations, the system successfully increased the delivered volumes of gas, and the percentage of utilised capacity. In 2014, 65% of the annual capacity of the Nord Stream pipeline was used. Utilised capacity increased further to 71% in 2015, and to 80% in 2016. For 2017, we expect almost 90% of capacity utilisation.
